Mrs. Annie Mae Mathis , 94 of 180 Southwood Drive, Clinton, NC, died Monday at Southwood Nursing & Retirement Center, Clinton, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 2:30pm on Sunday, June 12, 2011 at the Lisbon Street MB Church, Clinton, NC with the Rev. Dr. H.R. Cogdell, officiating. Burial will be in the Sandhill Cemetery, Clinton, NC.

Mrs. Mathis is survived by DAUGHTERS -Annie Bernice Harris and Mettie Lucille Johnson both of New York, NY, Jannie Lee Stackhouse of Newburgh, NY, Rosie Marie Fields of Grimes Land, NC, Jeanette Sampson of Forestville, MD; SONS -Rolland Mathis of Greensville, NC, Robert Freeman Mathis of Clinton, NC; SISTERS -Margaret Spearman of Clinton, NC, Jerneice Robinson of Fayetteville, NC; BROTHER -Carl Averyof Louisville, KY.
