Mr. Arthur "Smiley" Mathis , 90, of Clinton, NC, passed away Friday, December 6, 2024 at Mary Gran Nursing Center, Clinton, NC.
The funeral service will be held at 2pm, Friday, December 13, 2024 at Lisbon Street Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton, NC with Rev. Dr. Thaddeus Godwin, Sr. officiating.
Interment will be in Sandhill Cemetery, Clinton, NC.
Mr. Mathis is survived by DAUGHTERS -Trumiller Mathis of Bronx, NY, Tammie Boykin of Raleigh, NC, Brenda (Demezer) Chenerfant of Irvington, NJ and Yvonne (Harold, Jr.) Evans Dickson of Newark, NJ; SONS -Arthur Lee Mathis and Monte Mathis both of Bronx, NY, Gary Owens of Salemburg, NC; BROTHER -Howard Mathis of Clinton, NC; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
