Mrs. Barbara Ann Stevens, 56, of Wichita, KS, formerly of Clinton died Friday in Kansas.

The funeral service will be held at 11am, Monday, October 8, 2007 at Browns Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton. Bishop Wayne Smiley, officiating. Burial in Sandhills Cemetery, Clinton.

Mrs. Stevens is survived by her HUSBAND , Johnie S. Stevens Jr.of the home, FATHER , Bobby Melvinof Clinton, NC, DAUGHTERS , Rolanda, Yolanda and Verlonda Stevens all of Durham, NC, Shayla P. Stevens of Miami, FL,and Eight Grandchildren , SISTERS , Betty Conley, Gloria Parker Oates, Patricia Parker, and Christa Wynn all of Clinton, NC, Elizabeth Cameron of Mount Veron, NY, Julie Rattley of Ocala, FL, Brenda Melvin of St. Petersburg, FL, BROTHERS , Ester ""Bud"" Parker Jr. of Clinton, NC, James Melvin of Fayetteville, NC, Billy Melvin of Panama City, FL, Dr. Al Melvin of Wilson, NC, Daryl Melvin of TX, Emanual Melvin of United Kingdom.
