Ms. Bessie Jane BoykinMathis , 94, of 208 Mercer Road, Elizabethtown, NC (formerly of Clinton, NC) died Monday at Elizabethtown Nursing Center, Elizabethtown, NC.

The funeral will be heldat 11am, Friday, Dec. 21, at First Baptist Church, 900 College Street, Clinton , with Rev. Thomas Farrow, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Clinton.

Ms. Mathis is survived by DAUGHTERS -Carolyn Mathis of Clinton, NC, and Sheila Mathis-Frianklin of Greensville, SC; SON -Eddie Mathis of Greensville, SC; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
