Mr. Edgar Lee Blackmon, 82, formerly of Clinton, died Friday at Pitt Memorial Hospital, Greenville, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 12pm, Friday, January 19, 2007, at Lisbon St. Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton . Rev. H.R. Cogdell, officiating. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Clinton.

Mr. Blackmon is survived by DAUGHTERS -Cathryn Blackmon and Rev. Margaret Blackmon both of Greenville, NC, Essie Oates of Winston-Salem, NC, SONS -David Blackmon of Clinton, Edgar W. Blackmon of Richton Park, IL, SISTERS -Lillie Pennix of Irvington, NJ, Rose Gilford of Clinton, BROTHER -Willie O. Blackmon of Bensalem, PA, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
