Mrs. Edna Ruth Durant, 71, of 1327 Sycamore Drive, Garner, NC, died Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Rex Hospital, Raleigh, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 1pm, Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at Bibleway Holiness Church, Garner, NC. Bishop Joseph Hinton officiating. Burial in Carolina Biblical Gardens, Garner, NC.

Mrs. Durant is survived by HUSBAND -Lester Jay Durant of the home, DAUGHTERS -Wanda K. Durant and Angela Mason both of Durham, NC, SON -Wendell J. Durant of Maryland, SISTERS -Lela Durant and Beulah Terry both of Rocky Mount, NC, Evelyn Barnes of Chesterfield, VA, and Margaurite Lucas of Sharpsburg, NC, BROTHER -Charles Lucas of Abingdon, VA, 6 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren .
