Mrs. Ella Mae Floyd Bannerman , 85, of 1313 Jasper Street, Clinton, NC, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2026 at Novant Presbyterian Medical Center, Charlotte, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 1pm, Friday, May 22, 2026 at Lisbon Street Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton, NC with Pastor Louise Royal and Elder Samir Skinner officiating.

Interment in Sandhill Cemetery, Clinton, NC.

Mrs. Bannerman is survived by DAUGHTER -Evelyn Simmons of Salemburg, NC; BROTHERS -Wendell (Dorothy) Floyd of Autryville, NC, Henry Cliff (Mary) Floyd of IL, William Roger (Joyce) Floyd of Raleigh, NC and Lucious Ike (Juanita) Floyd of Brooklyn, NY; 3 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
