Mrs. Elmer Lee ""Milk"" Newkirk , 72 of 426-B McKoy Street, Clinton, NC died Tuesday at Rex Hospital, Raleigh, NC.

The funeral will be held at 11am, Tuesday, May 7, 2013 in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Boykin officiating. Burial in Sandhill Cemetery.

Mrs. Newkirk is survived by HUSBAND -George Albert Newkirk of Magnolia, NC; DAUGTHERS -Jacqueline Brown and Eugenia Newkirk-Collins both of Portsmouth, VA, Elvie Newkirk of Clinton, NC; SISTERS -Unice Stone of Portsmouth, VA, Audrey Merritt Peterson and Alice Merritt Williamson both of Clinton, NC, Anita Joyce Merritt and Elizabeth Atkinson both of Magnolia, NC, Ruth Norfleet of Woodbridge, VA; SPECIAL FRIEND -William Leak of Clinton, NC; 8 grandchildren; one great grandchild .
