Mrs. Emma I. Parker Smith , 75, of 8600 Sunrise Lakes Blvd., Sunrise, FL, formerly of Clinton,NC, died Saturday at Plantation General Hospital, Plantation, FL.

The funeral service will be held at 3pm, Sunday, March 1, 2009, at Lisbon St. Missionary Baptist Church, Clinton, NC . Rev. Freddie Herring officiating. Burial in Sandhills Cemetery, Clinton, NC.

Mrs. Smith is survived by HUSBAND -Harley Newland of Sunrise, FL; DAUGHTERS -Janice Smith, Tracy Smith, and Pamela Davis all of Sunrise, FL; SONS -Willie Parker, Sr. of Clinton, NC, Robert Williams of Newport News, VA, and Nelson Parker of Brooklyn, NY; SISTER -Gladys Greenfield of Clinton, NC; BROTHER -Napolean Parker of Clinton, NC; 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
