Mr. George Washington Herring , 71 of 12735 Taylors Bridge Hwy( Delway Community ), Magnolia, NC died on Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 3pm, Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Mt. Zion AME Zion Church, Delway, NC with the Rev. Dr. A.D. Brown, officiating. Burial in the Herring Family Cemetery.

Mr. Herring is survived by DAUGHTERS -Patricia H. Carr of Clinton, NC and Maxine C. Andrews of Fayetteville, NC; SISTERS -Latimore Hammond and Mae Artis both of Garland, NC; seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
