Mrs. Gladys J. (Oates) Underwood , 72, of 1231 Faison Hwy., died Thursday at home.

The funeral service will be held at 2pm, Sunday, October 31, 2010 at Olivet Institutional Baptist Church, Clinton, NC . Rev. Willie Bowden officiating. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Clinton, NC.

Mrs. Underwood is survived by HUSBAND -Earl Underwood of the home; DAUGHTER -Felicia Underwood of Greensboro, NC; SONS -Earl Underwood, Jr. of Navasota, TX, Larry Underwood of the home, and Alexis Underwood of Greensboro, NC; SISTERS -Mary Barksdale of Faison, NC, Hilda Aycock and Rev. Willa Joyner both of Clinton, NC, Clydia Boykin of Fayetteville, NC; BROTHERS -James C. Oates and Thomas Oates both of Clinton, NC, 12 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.
