Mr. James Bannister , 78, of Township of Washington, NJ, formerly of Clinton, passed away Thursday in Ridgewood, NJ.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Union Star Original Free Will Baptist Church, Clinton, NC with Rev. Kelvin and Regina Williamson officiating.

The burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Clinton.

Mr. Bannister is survived by his WIFE -Bessie R. Bannister of the home; DAUGHTER -Nolia Parker of Township of Washington, NJ; SON -Matthew McDaniel, Jr. of Township of Washington, NJ; SISTER -Bessie Coleman "BB" of Richmond, VA; BROTHER -Willie Lee Bannister of Richmond, VA; two grandchildren.
