Mr. James Earl Bennett, Sr. , 79, of 6608 Hillbrook Road, Hope Mills, NC passed away Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Health System, Fayetteville, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 1pm, Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Snow Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Roseboro, NC with Dr. Sedrick Bryant officiating.

Burial in Roseboro Cemetery, Roseboro, NC.

Mr. Bennett is survived by WIFE -Essie Bennett of the home; DAUGHTERS -Andrea (Ray) Legette, Sherry Bennett and Theresa Clark all of Newburgh, NY, Jamie Sabrina Bennett of Hampton, GA, Denetia (Keith) Jones of Conley, GA and Felicia Smith of Hope Mills, NC; SONS -J. B. (Quantecia) Bennett, Jr. of Wappingers Falls, NY and Jeremie T. Bennett of Brooklyn, NY; SISTERS -Mary Oates of Fayetteville, NC, Rebecca Bennett, Sarah Bennett, Rosie Bennett and Jacqueline Barton all of Roseboro, NC, and Lillian Stevens of Jessup, MD; BROTHER -Robert Bennett, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC; 26 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
