Mr. James Edward Howard , 88 of Clinton, NC passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Carrolton Nursing Home, Fayetteville, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 1pm, Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Union Grove Church of Christ DOC, Clinton, NC with Dr. Timothy Peppers officiating.

Cremation to follow.

Mr. Howard is survived by DAUGHTERS -Evandelene Darby of Graham, WA and Toya Williams Collard of Gulfport, MI; SISTERS -Mary Ethel Williams and Gussie Underwood both of Clinton, NC, Rev. Darlene Edwards of Pickerington, OH, Dianna Benjamin of Aurora, Co and Alice Williams of Salemburg, NC; BROTHERS -Bishop Robert F. Hargrove of Sewell, NJ, Tex Howard and Samuel Howard both of Clinton, NC; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
