Mr. John David Bennett, 74, of 67-19 13th St., Flushing, NY, formerly of Clinton, NC, died Saturdayin New York.

The funeral service will be held at 1pm, Saturday, July 14, 2007, at Union Grove Disciples of Christ Church of Christ, Clinton, NC . Rev. Randy Melton, officiating. Burial in Sandhills Cemetery, Clinton.

Mr. Bennett is survived by DAUGHTERS -Crystal K. Melton of Freeport, NY, Deborah J. Laster of Fredricksburg, VA, SON -Leslie David Bennett of St. Albans, NY, SISTER -Mary B. Sutton of Rocky Mt., NC, BROTHERS -Nelia James Bennett of Fairfield, CA, Ferdinand Bennett of East Orange, NJ, Robert Bennett of Fayetteville, NC, three grandchildren , and special companion , Eula Washington of Flushing, NY.
