Mr. John L. "Jim" Boone , 89, of 2815 E. Darden Road, Faison, NC passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at home.

The funeral will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Holly Grove Church of Christ, Clinton, NC with Rev. Willie C. Alford officiating.

The interment will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mr. Boone is survived by his DAUGHTERS -Avis "Michelle" Boone of West New York, NJ, Kimberly Boone of Mebane, NC and Tonya Boone of Indian Trail, NC; BROTHER -Donald Boone of Clinton, NC.

There will be no public viewing.

The family will receive friends at the church from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
