Mr. John Gilbert Briggs , 73, of 2461 Legion Road, Fayetteville, NC, (formerly of Clinton, NC)died Saturday at Cumberland Rehabilitation Center, Fayetteville, NC.

The graveside servicewill be held at 11am, Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Sandhills Cemetery. Apostle Marcus O. Bectonofficiating. Burial will follow in Sandhills Cemetery.

Mr. Briggs is survived by DAUGHTERS -Vonzell Coppedge and Mary Cosby both of Richmond, VA, Hope Shefield of Virginia Beach; SONS -Jonathan Briggs of Fayetteville, NC, Mario Briggs of Richmond, VA, Samuel Briggs of Glen Allen, VA.
