Mr. Larry Scott Herring , 71, of 1424 Pope Road, Clinton, NC passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 at Highsmith-Rainey Hospital, Fayetteville, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 11am, Friday, April 30, 2021 at Sandhills Veteran Cemetery, Spring Lake, NC with Rev. Leslie Morrisey officiating.

Burial with military honors to take place afterwards.

Mr. Herring is survived by WIFE -Bettye F. Herring of the home; DAUGHTERS -Shawnda Correa of Hope Mills, NC, Yolanda Silver of Clinton, NC and Eileen Mitchener of Newton Grove, NC; SON -Matthew Herring of Orlando, FL; SISTERS -Dr. Jacqueline Wilson of Rocky Mount, NC, Vivian Herring and Tracy Barham both of Newton Grove, NC, Arletha Herring of Enfield, NC and Teresa Herring of Woodbridge, VA; BROTHERS -Jerry Herring of Clinton, NC, Ollie Herring, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC; 5 grandchildren.

There will be no public viewing.
