Mrs. Laura Mae Odom Shropshire , 84, of Southern Pines, NC, formerly of Fayetteville, NC, died Sunday at Firsthealth Hospice & Palliative Care, Pine Hurst, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 10am, Saturday February 14, 2015 at St. Anthony of PaduaCatholic Church, Southern Pines, NC. Monsignor Patrick McCabe officiating. Burial in Pinelawn Memorial Park, Southern Pines, NC.

Mrs. Shropshire is survived by DAUGHTERS -Denise Shropshire of Charlotte, NC and Linda Shropshire of San Antonio, TX; SONS -Ellison McKnight, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ and Walter "Donnie" Shropshire of San Diego, CA; seven grandchildren andfour great-grandchildren .

Visitation will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 from 6pm - 7pm at Simon Funeral Home, Southern Pines, NC
