Mrs. Lula Elizabeth Hemmingway , 76, of 409 West Morrisey Blvd., Clinton, NC, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 2pm, Saturday, March 07, 2009 at Big Piney Grove Baptist Church, Clinton, NC with the Rev. James Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Park, Clinton, NC.

Mrs. Hemmingway is survived by DAUGHTER -Lula Hemmingway of Clinton, NC; SONS -Connell Hemmingway and Rev. Glenwood Hemmingway both of Clinton, NC and Wesley Hemmingway of Philadelphia, PA; SISTERS -Clara Williams, Ebbie McLean, Rosa McNeil and Lucy McDonald all of Philadelphia, PA, Susie Baucom of Clinton, NC; BROTHER -Hubert McLean of Dunn, NC.
