Mr. Marquez "Mark" Melvin , 47, of 105 E. Maple Street, Clinton, NC passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Healthcare Center, Fayetteville, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 1pm, Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Cape Fear Conference A Headquarters, Erwin, NC with Dr. Timothy Peppers officiating.

Burial in Sandhill Cemetery, Clinton, NC.

Mr. Melvin is survived by WIFE -Nashonda Melvin of the home; DAUGHTERS -Kadejah Horne of New York, ShaKirra Wright and MarQuia Melvin both of the home; SONS -Dominic McPherson of Fayetteville, NC, Ryan Melvin of the home; PARENTS -Evangeline Oates Melvin of the home and Rev. Leondus "L.D." Melvin of Lillington, NC ; SISTER -Anitra Wilson of Willow Spring, NC; BROTHER -Kelly Colvin of Raleigh, NC; 2 grandchildren.
