Mrs. Mattie Lee Williams , 81, of 4009 Big Piney Grove Road, Clinton, NC passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at home.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Olivet Institutional Baptist Church with Rev. Sharon Lane officiating .

The burial will follow in Williams-Kornegay Cemetery, Newton Grove, NC.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her HUSBAND -Leslie E. Williams of the home; DAUGHTERS -Tonya Greenhill of White Plains, MD, Kimberly Swinson of Clinton, NC and Wendy Goodwin of Waldorf, MD; SISTERS -Shirley Cooper of Roseboro, NC, Brendella Smith of Kenansvill, NC Glenda Chestnutt of Turkey, NC, and Deborah Lapi of Salemburg, NC; BROTHERS -Willie Powell of Alton, VA and Harry Powell of Elizabethtown, NC; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
