Mrs. Merita Azadale Lane , 71, of 302 Turlington Street, Clinton, passed away Wednesday at home.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Lisbon Street Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Thaddeus Godwin officiating.

The burial in Sandhill Cemetery.

Mrs. Lane is survived by her HUSBAND -Freddie Lane, Sr. of the home; DAUGTHERS -Tara Lane-Taylor of Fayetteville, NC and Shana Lane of Clinton, NC; SONS -Freddie Lane, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC and Jeffrey Lane of Clinton, NC; SISTERS -Lavern Carr Richardson, Vanessie Moore both of Clinton, NC, Mary Etta Murphy of Harrells, NC, Gail McLamb of Clinton, MD, Odessa Callaway of Martinsville, VA, Sylvia Hargrove of Stratford, CT, Linda Owen and Idia Carr bothof Bridgeport, CT; BROTHERS -Henry Carr of Clinton, NC, James Carr of Ingold, NC, Emeory Carr of Stratford, CT, Kerry Carr of Bossier City, LA; 10 grandchildren and 8 great granchildren .
