Mr. Richard Edward Kornegay, Jr., 75, of 5682 Roseboro Hwy, Roseboro, NC died Monday, June 23, 2014 at the NC State Veterans Nursing Home, Fayetteville, NC.

The funeral will be held at 12pm, Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Clinton, NC with Father Mark Betti officiating . Burial in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church Cemetery, Newton Grove, NC with Military Honors.

Mr. Kornegay is survived by his WIFE -Evelyn Kornegay of the home; DAUGHTERS -Nicole Kornegay of Roseboro, NC, Deidre Menefield of Chester, VA, Judy Davis of Charlottesville, VA, Joyce Sampson of Clinton, NC, Janet Herring and Jackie Herring both of Fayetteville, NC; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren .
