Mrs. Rosalee Cates Blackman, of Scranton, SC, formerly of Sampson County, NC, died Tuesday at McLeod Regional Hospital, Florence, SC.

The funeral service will be held at 12pm, Monday, March 17, 2008 at Mt. Pleasant Missioinary Baptist Church, Clinton. Bishop Varnie N. Fullwood officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Blackman is survived by DAUGHTERS -Samella Ann Jones of Lake City, SC, Gloria Hamilton of Durham, NC, and Diane Long of Fayetteville, NC, SON -Wilbert Thomas Blackman of Schenectady, NY, SISTERS -Lugenia Parker of Bahama, NC, Geneva Smith of Seattle, WA, Mary Walton and Pauline Cates both of Atlanta, GA, Louise Harris, Pearl Cates-Bullock, Marie Carrington, Evelyn Cates, and Claudine Cates all of Durham, NC, BROTHERS -James Cates, George Cates, Samuel Cates, Goldsmith Cates, Jerome Cates, and Joseph Cates all of Durham, NC, 7 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren .
