Mr. Roy Lee "Pop" Boykin, Sr. , 88, of 701 Ferrell Street, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Sampson Regional Medical Center, Clinton.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Union Grove COC DOC with Elder Quaveon Richardson officiating .

The burial will follow in Sandhill Cemetery.

Mr. Boykin, Sr., is survived by his WIFE -Helen Boykin of the home; DAUGHTERS -Evelyn Jackson of Clinton, NC, Delores Williams of Fayetteville, NC, Carolyn Boykin of Fayetteville, NC and Tonita Bailey of Clinton, NC; SONS -Robert Lee Boykin of Clinton, NC, Roy Lee Boykin, Jr. of Rose Hill, NC and Tremigo Boykin of Tacoma, WA; SISTER -Evelyn Frontis of Clinton, NC; BROTHER -Cleveland Boykin of Clinton, NC; 16 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
