Mr. Roy "Ed" James Wilson, Sr. , 62, of 60 Henry-Linda Ln., Turkey, NC, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Sampson Regional Medical Center, Clinton, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at Wilson Chapel MB Church, Turkey, NC. with Rev. Wendell Newton officiating.

Burial in the Church Cemetery with Military Honors.

Mr. Wilson is survived by DAUGHTER- Renee Bandy of Richmond, Va; SONS- Roy Wilson, Jr. and Kasey Wilson both of the home; SISTERS -Paula Best of Warsaw, NC, Edna Richardson of Kenly, NC, Gail Cunningham of Middleton, CT, Vanessa Wilson of Clinton, NC and Patricia Wilson of Magnolia, NC; BROTHERS -James Wilson of Warsaw, NC and Costella Wison of Turkey, NC; 2 grandchildren .
