Smith Cox, Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Smith Cox, Jr. , 74, of 180 Southwood Drive, passed away Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Southwood Nursing Center, Clinton, NC.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, September 5, 2025 at Worley Funeral Home .
The interment will follow in Sandhill Cemetery.
Mr. Cox, Jr. is survived by his WIFE -Carol Cox of Clinton, NC; DAUGHTERS -LaVonda Williams of Riverdale, GA, Sandra Johnson of Cincinnati,OH, Anthea Cox-Scruggs of Powhatan, VA, and Tiona Carr of Clinton, NC; SPECIAL DAUGHTER -Tia Olmeda of Blythewood, SC; SONS -Larry Simmons of Fayetteville, NC and Broderick Cox of Dunn, NC; SISTERS -Brenda Newkirk of Magnolia, NC, Patricia Daughtry and Lonnie Smith both of Clinton, NC; 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren .
