Mr. Walter Lee Best , 70, of Durham, NC, formerly of Clinton, NC passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Beacon Place Hospice Center, Greensboro, NC.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, May 19, 2023 at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Melvin officiating.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mr. Best is survived by his WIFE -Joyce Best of Clinton, NC; MOTHER -Mary Lois Murphy of Norfolk, VA; DAUGHTERS -Shawanda Stevens of Clinton, NC and Latasha Best-Gaddy of Durham, NC; SONS -Jalon Best of Greensboro, NC; BROTHERS -Cassius Murphy and Joseph Best both of Norfolk, VA; 3 grandchildren .
