Mrs. Carrie Mae Evans, 87, of 613 Winfrey Street, Clinton, NC passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Rex Hospital, Raleigh, NC.

The funeral service will be held at 2pm, Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the Sampson County Exposition Center, Clinton, NC with Rev. Marvin T. Clowney officiating.

Burial in the Hillcrest Memorial Park, Clinton, NC.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her HUSBAND-Joseph N. Evans of the home; DAUGHTER-Freida Zuella Evans of Washington, DC; SONS-Billy Evans, Eric Evans both of Clinton, NC and David Boone of Fayetteville, NC; BROTHERS-Jim Boone and Donald Boone both of Faison, NC; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
