Mrs. Fannie Merritt, 86, of 422 McKoy Street, Apt. A, Clinton, NC passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 at home.

The funeral service will be held at 1pm, Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Goshen Disciple Church, Faison, NC with Elder Donald Dewitt officiating.

Burial in First Congregational Cemetery, Dudley, NC.

Mrs. Merritt is survived by DAUGHTERS-Edna Worrells of Silver Springs, NC, Liffie Smith of Goldsboro, NC, Wanda Barfield and Jacqueline Holmes both of Clinton, NC and Janice Melvin of Roseboro, NC; SONS-Cleo Merritt of Goldsboro, NC and Dwight Merritt of Clinton, NC; SISTERS-Clara Atkinson of Newton Grove, NC and Mary Frances Cobbs of Mt. Olive, NC; BROTHERS-William Hall of Roselle, NJ, Harold Hall and Bobby Hall both of Mt. Olive, NC; 25 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren and 17 great -great grandchildren.
